Soft power, made in Europe.
tufted.eu is a small Dutch studio making one thing properly: hand-tufted rugs and desk mats of the money we all carry. No factories, no drop-shipping — just yarn, a tufting gun, and a lot of hours.
It started with a single €500 on a homemade frame. We drew the note at full scale, matched the yarn to the print, and tufted it line by line. The first one took a weekend. People wanted one.
Everything is still made to order in the Netherlands. Designing and producing inside the EU costs more than importing — but it means fair work, short shipping, and a product we can stand behind. When you buy here, you're backing a European maker, not a warehouse.

Every note is mapped at full size so the proportions are right — the way a real banknote reads.

Tufted by hand
Built colour by colour with a tufting gun, then trimmed, glued and bound by hand.

Finished to last
Dense pile, anti-slip backing, stitched edges. Made to be walked on for years.
